Good Stuff

We have always believed that business can and should be a force for good. We are committed to doing things in a responsible way and having a positive impact on the world around us.

We don’t claim to be perfect, but we always strive to increase the good stuff we do and reduce the inevitable environmental costs associated with running a business like ours.

From the suppliers we work with to the way we power our stores, from our charity partnerships to our goals as an employer, we think there is a lot to feel good about.

Energy

Our stores are powered by 100% renewable energy whenever we get to choose our energy supplier.

Reuse & Recycling

All our unsold food goes to local homeless shelters and our on-site waste is either recycled, composted or incinerated. Zero Waste Goes To Landfill.

Animal welfare

We use free range chickens from Creedy Carver, outdoor reared pigs from Wicks Farm and UK pasture fed cows and lambs from Devon Rose.

People

We want Friska to be the best place to work at in our industry. We offer a competitive employment package which includes above living wage pay, private health care cash plan, paid for tea, coffee and food when working and lots of other nice things. Want to join? We’d love to hear from you.

Charity partnerships

The sale of our Pho Noodles help fund DEKI entrepreneurs in Sub Saharan Africa with small business loans. The sales of our mineral water and Klean Kanteen Flasks help support FRANK WATER who build clean drinking water facilities in rural India.

The Deki Dish

We fund Deki entrepreneurs through the sale of our official Deki Dish – Pho noodles. All of our places take part, so you can drop in anywhere for a delicious bowl of Pho knowing that a portion of your portion will help someone in the developing world to make a new start.

Deki is a microfinance charity that lends money to hard-working entrepreneurs in Malawi, Ghana, and South Sudan to kick start their business and work their way out of poverty.
